Thank you for your article on WV addiction. Because of it, and hearing about it on Fresh Air on NPR, our organization Hope Central in Ashland KY (dealing with similar issues) connected with the Hope Dealer Project. We are working with them on the both transport and the next phase of recovery after rehab. We do development rather than relief efforts. We do not provide emergency resources, rather we provide educational outlets, life skills, and job placement and preparation. We will be working with them on placing former addicts into normal life situations, and utilizing their ministry here. They are helping us develop a system to use church buses to get people to, not just rehab or detox, but to appointments, meetings, and work.
