Getting Bin Laden
What happened that night in Abbottabad.
Pakistan's air defenses all pointed east, toward India. The Black Hawks had been modified to mask heat, noise, and movement—exteriors covered with radar-dampening "skin." The SEALs' destination: a compound less than a mile from Pakistan's prestigious military academy. If all went according to plan, they would shoot bin Laden at close range.
