Jason Rezaian's last story before his arrest was about Iran's tiny baseball scene, describing how economic sanctions affected players' aspirations. "Catcher's mitts and gloves for left-handers are scarce." He had no interest in whitewashing Iran—or insulting it. Tehran jailed him anyway.
